Swann Room

The Cliffside Inn—originally built in 1876 and named Swann Villa—was the summer home of Maryland Governor Thomas Swann and family. Named to honor the Swann family, this cozy corner room on the third-floor is a romantic Newport retreat featuring sloped mansard walls, hardwood floors, and corner seasonal gas fireplace. The Swann Room at our romantic Newport inn is furnished with an antique bureau and queen-sized, 4-poster bed. French doors lead to a private bathroom with a two person spa shower bathed in light from the skylight above.

This guest room also offers an LED TV, blackout shades for leisurely mornings, and Bluetooth radio, in addition to individually-controlled heat and AC and free wireless internet. The Swann Room can accommodate up to two (2) total guests.
